Sm@rtLine IDEA stands for Intelligent Data, Event and Alarm Management

Sm@rtLine IDEA is a qualified data collection and processing system for process values in central- and decentralized configurations. IDEA compiles data from different interfaces by means of a modern adapter/agent concept. Such data is compiled either directly from the field or from automation control, SCADA and management systems. The central filing system in a database enables the intelligent interpretation of data and the sharing of information with selected clients.

• IDEA (Intelligent Data Entry and Assessment) collects and processes data from various control or automated systems. The process data interface is open and allows the connection of various bus systems and technologies (OPC).
• The software architecture of adapters and agents allows process-oriented signal preprocessing and secure data communication between client and server by means of TCP/IP and XML.
• Data are tagged with a standard facility ID and are displayed in the Tag Manager with a technological or facility-specific view.
• In the event generator, variables are linked together and monitored. The user can create his or her own process observations. When all conditions of an observation are fulfilled, the parameterized events are carried out.
• IDEA allows the possibility for every user to define his or her own process considerations. In this manner worksites, technicians or production managers can infer their individual results out of the process. Here personnel squeezes become non-issues through intelligent solutions.
• IDEA-WEB
  Measuring values, facility status and various other sorts of information can be presented conveniently with professional appearance. Data can be displayed without additional installation in a standard web browser.
